What is a class like?

From Bubblegum Oldies to Motown and Beyond!

Well, it's one for the money! Two for the show! Three to get ready...now, go, cat, go! Who can't help but to tap their toes to classics like Elvis's  "Blue Suede Shoes"? Half-hour sessions to feel-good classics begin with each participant safely seated in a chair. People who use walkers and wheelchairs are welcome and encouraged to dance! Feel free to watch for awhile and just enjoy the music, or jump right into the fun! We warm up gently to tunes like "Heard It Through the Grapevine," "California Girls," and "My Girl." We rhythmically move to favorites like "At The Hop," "Jailhouse Rock," and "The Book of Love"! Our choreography is thoughtfully designed to be easy to learn and comfortable to dance to for a wide range of ability levels. One of our favorite cool-down dances is to Louis Armstrong's "What a Wonderful World." Participants leave class feeling warmer, happier, more optimistic...and simply energized!
